We work closely with a number of local authorities, charities and private enterprises including families in the transitions and placements of suitable children and young people. Entrusting someone with their own child is the biggest hurdle to overcome but we, at St. Benedicts see it as an honour to have the opportunity to take care of your child. Feeling honoured, endeavour and trust are the starting components to begin our working relationships but its our track record and results which ultimately define such relationships and to be successful in these is what we always strive for.

We aim to treat all referrals with the urgency and confidentiality that is expected. Each referral is screened and assessed. The referral team forwards the profile to the appropriate home. The Registered Manager for the earmarked home carries out final assessment and risk-matching. This is a detailed and robust process which aims to match each child to the correct service from the start. This will maximize the potential for placement stability and ensure that the child’s needs are met and any risks are managed appropriately. At the same time ensuring that we are not being counter-productive to existing children already residing at the Home.

We’d be delighted to hear from you with any enquiries that you may have now or in the future.
